Moddo-Avelon’s integrative and omnichannel technology reconnects Spanish brands in La Tienda del Pabellón de España and in its marketplace during Expo Dubai.
Moddo-Avelon has been chosen as a strategic technological partner for the creation of La Tienda: Brands of Spain Shop, the commercial space of the Spanish Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020.
The Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE) will manage with the support of Moddo-Avelon and the local partner Al Ghurair Investment, this phygital store with more than 20 brands, in which the customer can decide where they want to receive their purchase.
Moddo-Avelon has been chosen technological partner for the development of La Tienda: Brands of Spain Shop, a commercial space of the Spanish Pavilion, which will have more than 20 national brands and where you can enjoy a unique and innovative shopping experience.
The Forum of Renowned Spanish Brands (FMRE) will manage this space conceived as an extension of the visitor’s experience to the Pavilion, allowing them to know and buy some of the most relevant Spanish brands. The Store will be divided into two spaces, one dedicated to gastronomy and the other to fashion and accessories brands.
The FMRE has the strategic support of Moddo-Avelon as a technological partner with extensive experience in the world of retail, as well as a local partner, Al Ghurair Investment, a leading family conglomerate in the United Arab Emirates, with more than 28,000 employees and businesses in different sections.
Moddo-Avelon has developed the technology of the point of sale, the RMS and the e-commerce of the store www.brandsofspainshop.com, creating a unique shopping experience for the physical store of the pavilion. Its own mobile sales and payment tool APOLO allows the sales force to have the catalog of the store and warehouses in real time, serving customers without separating from them. In this way, customers make the payment on the spot, but decide if they prefer that their purchase be sent to their hotel or to their home, allowing MODDO technology to be sent both from the store itself, and from the Al Ghurair Investment warehouses. .
Spanish fashion and lifestyle will be represented by Adolfo Domínguez, Aristocrazy, El Ganso, Natura Bissé, Tendam (Pedro del Hierro, Spring ﬁ eld and Women’secret), TOUS, UNOde50, Alma en Pena, Ambientair, Lola Casademunt, Roberto Verino and Starlite .
In La Tienda you can also find gastronomic products from the Spanish companies Acesur (with the brands La Española and Hacienda Guzmán), Adam Foods (Artiach, Cuétara and Granja San Francisco), Hijos de Rivera (Estrella Galicia and Cabreiroá), Olives Torrent ( with the brands Torrent 1898, Oliva Clan, The Coolives), Gulius, Palacio de Oriente, Pimentón, La Chinata and Virginias.
Moddo technology was also present in the multi-brand store of the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010, promoted by the Leading Brands Forum and under a pioneering model that received more than 2 million visitors and added sales of more of 1.3 million euros.
